Mixed Emotions

These last couple of weeks have been full of emotions.

I got back from Georgia last week... I've never missed Mesa soooo much.

But when I got back from Georgia, I learned something... People should really stay out of other people's business. If you want to be in someone's business, please ask the person first. If they say yes, then go right ahead but tell the person what you are going to do (for filtering purposes).

Aubri's emotions? Frustration, extreme confusion.

*just dandy*

One day when I got back from walking the craziest animal alive (tank), I saw THIS on the table.

OH. MY. GOSH.

I get to go the HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH (besides the temple) with my mother and we have 3 day park hopper ticket things! WOOT!

Aubri's emotions? COMPLETE. EXCITEMENT.

My plan?

1) FIND MARY POPPINS! If I don't find her, I'll throw a temper tantrum. Just kidding.

2) Go on Matterhorn..materhorn. whatev. I've never been on it and I need to!

3) Go on Splash Mountain (even though I'm terrified of the drop)

4) Take a crap load of pictures with the characters. YAY!

5) Don't go to Toontown, well, don't go on the rides....unless you scream like crazy and fake cry when you exit the ride. And then try to see how many children you made scared.. (I'm terrible, i know.....you'd do it too)

Now, Christopher Reed made me watch Master's of Disguise before he left on his Super Activity on Wednesday. Oh. My. golly gee willikers. It's probably one of the funniest movies ever! It definitely made me a happier!

Bird Intruder.

It's climbing in your windows, it's poopin' on all your stuff. You better hide yo kid, hide yo wife, hide yo kid, hide yo wife and hide yo husband cuz it's poopin' on errbody out here.

This ain't a random picture. Oh no. This is a picture of bird poo on my blinds in my bedroom.

(Aubri! Why is there bird poop on your blinds?)

I was sleeping peacefully yesterday morning, it was around 7:00am. My fat cat was in my room and I hear something fall, I look over but I just see her being stupid and laying there. (I obviously love cats *insert heavy sarcasm*) So I close my eyes again and fall back into Dreamland. Then I hear something even louder, like someone just knocked over my entire desk! I look over, the fat cat jumps up and a bird flys up and above my head. The stupid fat cat uses my back as a jumping pad to get this bird....which mean it has to dig it's claws into my back.

I.freak.out.

"DAAAAAAAD!!!!!!!" I'm literally screaming my head off. My mom comes running in (I need to work on my calls) and I scream, "THERE'S A BIRD IN MY ROOM! AND DAKOTA (fat cat) USED MY BACK AS A JUMPING PAD!"

I'm not a morning person. at all.

I am bitter beyond all reason. I literally kick the cat out. My dad goes in and I go to my parents room to try to go back to sleep.....but I go back to my room thinking my dad already got it.. nope. I open the door and the stupid, fat cat runs back in and the bird goes ballistic. I'm screaming....yes, very loudly.

Dad finally gets the bird and we set it loose.

I go back into my room and the bird left presents on various things...

GOODMORNING.

not.

What time is it? Summer time!

Well, it's been summer time for a while....

So I am lovin' this thing called summer...but it's actually kind of boring me right now. I really want these next two weeks to zoom by. I'm going to good ol' Georgia next week for a family reunion with my mom's side of the family...but that's every other 5 years and I barely see these people. For example, I've seen my dad's side of the family at least twice this summer.

Yesterday I went to my dad's school that he opened (he's so awesome) and he took most of my family on a tour. It was also my Aunt Kaylin's 55th birthday so we had a "surprise party" for her in the preschool room. My cousin Braden and I went outside on the swings and talked. He is the closest cousin I have. I havent talked to him in forever and he's getting his mission call in a couple weeks! GEEZ! i'm old. He is such a good cousin and is the most caring person ever. Gotta love him.

I watched Tuck Everlasting yesterday...and I would like to inform Twilight that they have NOTHING compared to Tuck Everlasting. Tuck Everlasting is the CUTEST movie ever and it is kind of like Twilight.

Tuck Everlasting + Fangs = Twilight

It's that simple. But Jesse Tuck and Mr. Darcy...man, who am I going to marry?!

On Saturday, I got back from my Stake's Pioneer Trek and this time my parents were called to be Ma & Pa. I could go off about it, but I'm lazy and I already ranted about how amazing my last Stake's Trek was. I mean, this one was amazing too. But I'm not sore anymore, and my last trek...I was sore for 2 weeks. Maybe I'm just buff...ok, I'll go with that theory. Anywho, the hardest part of the Trek was not being able to see my blood parents. But on the Women's Pull, once my cart (the very very first handcart, mind you) was at the top, we ran back down to help the others and I saw my mom (oh hey tears, why don't you stay in my face...) and my heart just broke. She was so tired and I went next to her and helped her family push. I could not say anything negative, it wasn't in me even though I was exhausted just like she was. I look up to my mother so much. She is the strongest woman ever and she is the rock in my life.

Once we were all at the top, we pushed some more and the boys in our family were on the sides of the path singing hymns to us as they pushed us out so we didn't have to work anymore. My dad (real) was at the end passing out flowers and he gave me a bouquet. I love that man...

Dear future husband, be like my dad. Love, your future wife.
