A thought of a thought.....

You know, people always say "Your senior year is the best!" or "When I'm a senior, everyone will want to be my friend!" or "I'm just going to party my way through senior year." or "There won't be any drama my senior year."

NEGATIVE.

(this isn't one of those 'woe is me' posts.....just bare with me)

Senior year is TOOOUGH. And I'm not exaggerating anything, it's all true! When you are a senior, you realize how awesome the underclassmen are and how you wish you could get held back so you could graduate with a better class. (but I'm not school's #1 fan, so I'm still graduating in May 2012 thankyouverymuch :) You also realize how cruel the world can be but you learn how to react positively or negatively. I have found that reacting positively is the best way, just saying. I learned who my true friends are, and that's incredibly hard. Incredibly. This year, in my opinion, I have been expected to be something big and great; beautiful, blonde, perfect, athletic...the whole shabang. But I'm me, and I've been told to my face plenty of times that "me isn't enough." Depressing, right? I promise I'm a happy person, I pinky promise. I mean, yeah, I don't wear make up...I love t shirts...I am a huge music geek...I spend hours on the piano. Fortunately time and time again, I also been told that I AM beautiful. My eyes are the gorgeous and people "get lost in them." (Yes, that is a direct quote). I find myself very funny and so do a lot of other people! Someone told me that my singing voice was absolutely soothing and incredible, because it is the "good" kind of different. One of my greatest guy friends told me that they like being around me because I always have a smile on my face when I'm talking to them. The compliments are numerous...so what does that tell me? Being me is STELLAR. And if you don't agree, well, you smell like doo-doo. :) Even though it stinks being treated wrong and like I'm a pile of dirt and lose the friends you've loved in the process; I know who I am and I'll stay who I am. I am AubriAnna and I am most excellent :)

The power of Joy

When it comes to your senior year, know who you are and stay that way :)

I have 47 more days left till my adulthood starts. ADULTHOOD. *insert scream here* It was like yesterday I was eating cheerios in sacrament meeting! But I learned a lot of things this year....a LOT of things. I think I talked about those in another post (feel free to go search)...ANYWHO.

Oh by the way, .....3 more days till.....

Hunger Games <3

I'm off to California celebrating music and most importantly, Disneyland (ahhhh!!!!!!) so I am off...
May the odds be ever in your favor.

What a manboon.

On the 3rd of March I participated in....

SADIES!
(I'm warning you, it was a PRETTY awesome date!)
My date was good ol' Devin Carroll. Oh Devin.....how do I describe him? Hilarious, hilarious, oh and...hilarious. I have a six pack because every 5 seconds we were laughing (not an exaggeration) our heads off (exaggeration...I still have my head). We started off the day with going to the grand Phoenix Zoo (it's like the Arizona Disneyland).
When you have 1 zoo obsessed person plus another zoo obsessed person you get, well......
Devin and I.

I'm pretty sure we looked at EVERY animal, so technically we are "easily distracted, zoo obsessed people." And there is NOTHING wrong with that, right?
We were supposed to do a photo scavenger hunt, uh, yeah.....it barely happened. We were just having SO MUCH FUN!
I also learned that when you have 2 random, zoo obsessed, easily distracted, hilarious people you get....
Devin and I.

Also when you have Devin and I, you make up words like "manboon."

Manboon (noun); a mixed between a mandrill and a baboon.
I'm pretty sure our vocabulary has soared after making this fabulous word.

Did I mention this was the best date I've been on? No? Well, there ya go.

There wasn't one awkward moment.....and I can be an awkward person! IT WASN'T AWKWARD! (there is hope for people like me!) It was just so awesome!

So you have one random, zoo obsessed, easily distracted, hilarious, awesome person + another random, zoo obsessed, easily distracted, hilarious....you get....

Devin and I!

Oh do you want to see our monkey masks?

Yes, I know I know. You are super jealous.

I'm just gonna say that Sadies was absolutely, positively a success altogether.

Random Fact: Devin LOVES ketchup. And when I say "loves"....it's more like he is obsessed with ketchup. *shutter*
