Defy Gravity - all the cool kids do it.

In exactly 24 hours, I shall experiencing this.....

Oh.my.HECK. I am SOOOOO excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bet you 10 bucks I will cry, and I'm not joking. Heck, I listen to "Defying Gravity" and I get choked up.

Then on Friday and Saturday I shall be singing in REGIONALS! :) I found out 2 days ago that I was bumped up to 1st alternate, which means I can actually go!!!!!! YAY AUBRI! I just want to say, Heavenly Father DOES answer prayers. When I found out I was 5th alternate for Regionals, I was devastated. I went to regionals last year and enjoyed every moment of it. I prayed hard, fasted and worked hard that I could actually make it again....but I placed as 5th alternate (only 1 & 2 alternate can go). I would have to wait till 5 people would drop out. I prayed and prayed and PRAYED for comfort because I felt like biggest failure. Right as I finished the prayer, I felt calm. I knew Heavenly Father has more in store for me. I was still super sad, don't get me wrong, but I was comforted to know that He listened and instantly was there for me. I prayed that I could be bumped up to either 1st or 2nd alternate. I would take ANYTHING just to be able to go. Then on Monday Farenga (choir teacher) texted me saying that I was bumped to 2nd alternate! I screamed in COMPLETE joy! I could finally go to regionals and be around people who share the same love for music. Then an hour later she texted me again saying I was bumped up to 1st alternate! (YAAAY) I am ecstatic to go on Friday and Saturday even if it is truly exhausting!!! Heavenly Father did listen to my prayers but he had an even BETTER way to answer them :)

One Year More!

Today marks a VERY special day!

365 more days till my brother Danny is outta the Navy!

I know what you're thinking, "...that's a really long time." Well, when your brother has been gone for about 6 years, a year feels like a WEEK.

He's the greatest brother in the world and he is my best friend.

Did I mention he's a BEAST rock climber?

Yep and he's MY brother.

I, Aubri Winsor, have received my first 100% in Math and the type of math was trigonometry. From whenever I started learning Math to now, I have never gotten higher than an 80% on a quiz or test. I don't think anyone realizes how amazing that is, it's TRULY a miracle.

Or I'm just becoming the next Bill Gates/Einstein (expect, not so crazy/antisocial)
